CANTO Y GRITO MI LIBERACIÓN (y lloro mis desmadrazgos...) pensamientos, gritos, angustias, orgullos, penumbras poéticas, ensayos, historietas hechizos almales del son de mi existencia... by RICARDO SÁNCHEZ illustrated by MANUEL G. ACOSTA ANCHOR BOOKS Anchor Press/Doubleday & Company, Inc. Garden City, New York
This book is the first in a series to be published by Míclta
Publications...it is the birth of an idea first gestated in the
frenzy of Soledad Prison ten years ago, and now becoming a bronze
  reality.

El Paso, with all its memories, remains the cauldron of chicanismo
for me; thus now I return via my writings to my birthplace to explode
  out expletives and cantos...

This book would not be possible were it not for the patience and
understanding (and typing help) I've received from my wife...needless
to say, it would likewise not be possible to have it published were
it also not for Raymond Gardea, M.D., who has been un carnal a todo
  dar.
This outpouring is dedicated, como toda mi vida,

          a Teresa,

                 Rik-Ser,

                       Libertad-Yvonne,

to the memory of mi jefe, Pedro L. Sánchez,

                    mis carnales Pete y Sefy,

to the love felt from mi madrecita, Lina,

to Mannie, Luy, Katy, Mary, Rosie, Helen,

      reymundo gardea, lalo, narciso,

manuel acosta, tony parra, cha cha,

      eduardo, cleofas, rojas felix,

      willie camacho,

             al migrante del campo,

             al bato del barrio,

    to mis suegros-manuel y estela-

to all of you, and all those others whom time and space keep me from

accolading, i extend this verbalized set of esperanzas escritas,
