Who/what is Chorizosmells? It's just a name that I, Rikárd use when I shoot video, take pictures or do web publishing. Whenever my dad would talk about his book, Hechizospells, he would always say "Chorizosmells", then say, "oh, I mean Hechizospells." I liked the way that sounded, so I now use it. Besides, there's nothing else like the smell of chorizo in the morning.

Below is a chorizo poem written by my brother Jacinto

Chinto in Chorizoland rides a donkey made of chorizo,
the donkey is stubborn and chooses not to go,
I start a fire,
throw the donkey on the fire and eat it.

the next morning I get up and I notice that I have only
eaten its leg

So I get back on it
and with a limp it continues to take me --
where I need to go....
the green crocadile with orange poka dots
crawls out to the Rio Grande,

to find a three legged chorizo donkey
The crocadile licks his chaps and pursues

Not aware the donkey continues to drink water
the searing heat begins to cook the donkey

Chorizosmells begin to fill the air,

The crocadile returns underwater to retrieve his
jalepenos, With a big chomp his jaws cut the donkey in half

The crocadile yells a big Grito,
"I love Chorizo in the morning"

          Chorizo 3

The green crocadile with orange poka dots
makes his way up the Rio Grande

In Alburquerque, he again shouts out a Grito
I have reached Burque
the land of the red and green chile Chorizo

Enchanted the green crocadile with orange poka dots,
makes his way up to New Town

Knowing a tourist a day keeps the
his shiny poka dots shining all day

Ajua! shouts the young magician, Chinto
